EXAMPLE: Quilt top measures 60” x 40”
60”(L) x 40”(W) = 2400 Square Inches
2400 x $0.025 = $60.00

60”(L) x40”(W). 60+40 = 100. 100 x 2 = total Linear inches
200 Linear inches x $0.30 = $60.00 + $20.00 (trim) = $80.00 total price.
Misc.:
Sewing backing - $15.00 per seam
Thread Color Change - $3.00 per color(any additional colors)
Thread trimming the back of a quilt top* - $25.00/Hr.
Squaring up Quilt (top or back)* - $30.00/Hr.
Pressing (prior to quilting)* - $30.00/Hr.
Trim Quilt - $20.00
*Done at my discretion. This will warrant contacting client before beginning.
Thread:
I use Glide 40wt for a more visual quilted look. I typically use very neutral colors (cream, grey, white, black, brown), but have many colors to choose from for an added element of texture.
Your first color is included with the quilting price, but any additional color changes are $3.00/color.
Shipping:
All packages shipped will be mailed via UPS or Priority Mail from the USPS with $50.00 insurance included. If you desire more insurance, please indicate in the shipping section of the Longarm Quilting Request Form. The extra insurance will be added to the final invoice.
IF YOU ARE SHIPPING TO ME : I highly recommend placing your completed top and backing in a plastic air tight bag before placing it in the shipping box. We cannot control the weather, and this prevents any fabric from becoming wet or dirty. Once shipped, please text email me with the expected arrival date so I can watch the mail like a hawk!
Payment:
Once the quilt is completed, an invoice will be sent via PayPal or email. Modern Quiltings accept: Cash/Check (local pick-up only), PayPal, Venmo, and Square. SHIPMENT WILL ONLY OCCUR AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
Ohio sales tax will be applied to the invoice.
